Want to join my Review Team?
I’m building my Review Team, otherwise known as an ARC team, and this is your chance to read my book before it’s published. All of the ARCs will be digital so you must be able to read ebooks (on Kindle, epub, or PDF).
What’s an ARC? It stands for Advance Reader Copy and it’s uncorrected proof of an upcoming book. Intended for a limited audience, its purpose is to allow for final edits. It is distributed to reviewers early, giving them enough time to read and review it before the release date.
As an ARC reviewer I ask you to let me know of any mistakes you find. This could simply be pointing out a typo. Or perhaps you’re setting me straight on how long a human body can burn for at 600 °F. Both insights are greatly appreciated! For this reason I aim to send you the book at least one month before the release date. This gives you time to read and comment, and me time to make any necessary corrections and revisions.
Upon release of the book I ask you to give a fair and honest review in exchange for your advance copy.
As part of my ARC team reviewer you should ideally regularly read and/or review the genre of the book. As I write multiple genres for multiple audiences (Crime, Speculative, Adult, YA), you might not be on board with reading every book. And that’s fine. It’ll be on a book-by-book basis.
